Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your account and personal data cannot be recovered. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play settings.
The fastest way to delete your account is inside the app. Deletion takes effect immediately:
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion without reinstalling it. Send an email to admin@mirrorstate.co.za from the email address registered to your account. Tap the button below to open a pre-filled email — just press Send.

The following personal data is immediately and irreversibly deleted or de-identified:
What is retained: Financial and Zark transaction records are kept in pseudonymised form — stripped of your identity and replaced with an irreversible code — for 5 years, as required by South African tax and financial legislation (POPIA Section 11(1)(c)). De-identified or aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be retained for app improvement under POPIA Section 14(2).
