You must be at least 18 years of age to register and use Clash of Castes. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate any account where we determine the account holder is under 18.
MirrorState (Pty) Ltd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Clash of Castes solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment. The application is a skill-based card game. No real-money wagering occurs.
All intellectual property in the application — including the name, brand, game mechanics, artwork, and code — remains the exclusive property of MirrorState (Pty) Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Zarks are a virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. Zarks cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or cashed out for money or anything of monetary value, and cannot be transferred or sold to any other person.
Zarks are earned through gameplay, optional rewarded advertisements, and subscription allowances, and may also be acquired through optional one-time Zark pack purchases billed by Apple or Google. Zarks are used within the game for tournament entry and tournament prizes. Zarks are a licensed, revocable in-game feature — you do not own them, and they have no value outside the application.
We reserve the right to adjust, suspend, or remove Zark balances where required to correct errors, enforce these Terms, or address fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the game economy. Zark balances are forfeited on account termination or deletion and are non-refundable.
Clash of Castes offers optional subscription tiers: Silver (R39.99/month), Gold (R99.99/month), and Syndicate Boss (R999.99/month). Prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region and platform.
Subscription allowances of Zarks are credited to your account per billing period. Allowances follow the virtual currency terms in Section 03 and have no monetary value.
Tournaments are skill-based competitions. Entry fees and prizes are denominated exclusively in Zarks. No real money is wagered, and no prize can be exchanged for money. Tournament rules, entry requirements, brackets, and prize structures are displayed in the app before you register.
Zero-tolerance policy for cheats, bots, third-party automation, multi-accounting, collusion, or any form of game manipulation. Violations result in immediate and permanent account termination without notice or recourse, and forfeiture of Zark balances.
To keep tournaments fair, we run anti-collusion checks. When you register for a tournament, the app may request your device's location once as one signal for detecting coordinated play; see our Privacy Policy for details. Declining the location permission does not prevent you from playing.
No private wagering. You may not use Clash of Castes, its clubs, tournaments, or lobbies to organise, offer, solicit, or settle any real-money bet, side-bet, or wager between players, hosts, agents, or any other party, whether inside or outside the application. This applies regardless of any club, boss, or agent relationship on the platform. Any account found facilitating, running, or participating in off-platform wagering tied to Clash of Castes gameplay will be terminated immediately and permanently, with forfeiture of Zark balances, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
The free experience is supported by optional rewarded advertisements. You choose whether to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward (such as a Zark bailout); ads are never forced during gameplay. Ad serving and the advertising identifier are described in our Privacy Policy.
YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION IS AT YOUR SOLE AND ABSOLUTE RISK.
The application is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Subject to applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, MirrorState (Pty) Ltd disclaims all liability for data loss, server downtime, bugs, or loss of Zark balances resulting from technical failure.
Our maximum aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us through the application in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) R50.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence — under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other applicable law. Where any limitation in this Section is found to be unenforceable, that limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remainder of this Section continues in effect.
Termination by you: Delete your account in-app (Profile → Account → Delete My Account) or at www.clashofcastes.com/delete-account. In-app deletion is immediate and irreversible. Deleting your account does not cancel an active store subscription — cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Termination by MirrorState: We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or abuse. Zark balances are forfeited on termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gauteng.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will trigger a re-acceptance flow within the app. The current version is always available at www.clashofcastes.com/terms.
